I was at a debate at a Christian College in Orange County Calif. where he was debating a representative from the college. The debate got around to whether Bill Press saw anything wrong with homosexuality and he answered that any sexual act was al-right as long as it was between consenting adults. The representative from the college then countered by asking what about a brother and sister having sexual relations as long as they were consenting adults, to which Bill Press responded by saying, that he saw absolutely nothing wrong with this type of relationship. I was there and I saw it personally.

I respect "real" Liberals (or even socialists), those who actually believe what they preach, like Ralph Nader or Christopher Hitchens. The important thing is that I don't have to agree with them or their views. They believe them, and are willing to support them on their own merits. I strongly disagree with both of them, but they are intelligent, well spoken men who are capable of being polite and engaging while making their points. I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Nader briefly some years ago, and he was polite and friendly.

Honesty is admirable, but being intelligent and consistently wrong is not an honorable position. Nader once had a high position at Consumer Reports and nearly ran them out of business. CU was founded to give consumers information so they could make their own decisions more intelligently. Guess what Ralph thinks of people making their own decisions?

He is consistantly wrong based on our way of thinking, which BTW is the correct way :-). I based my assumption on the little I knew about his career as a consumer advocate, the fact that he lives his belief (i.e. donating 80% of his own personal earnings to further his cause) and he has been consistant in pursuing those beliefs.
However, based on what Sneakypete said above about tests being faked I will remove both the words honest and honorable from any future reference to Nader.

You know Wait4Truth I actually like Allan Colmes. Yes, he is a liberal but I swear there are times when he seems really uncomfortable about having to support the liberal agenda. Sometimes I feel sorry for him. Since the Hannity and Colmes show is right vs. left, perhaps he has to support the left's argument even if he disagrees with it.
